tdb-block-inner>p{font-size:15px!important}}كشفت الولايات المتحدة، الخميس، بناء اكبر قاعدة عسكرية على الجانب اليمني من المحيط الهندي.
خاص – الخبر اليمني: ونشرت وكالة اسوشيتد برس الامريكية صور أقمار صنعاء تظهر عمليات انشاء قاعدة على جزيرة سقطرى اليمنية والت تسيطر عليها الامارات والسعودية وتتواجد فيها قوات أمريكية وإسرائيلية وبريطانية.
وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن الصور تظهر عمليات تجهيز أطول مدرج للطائرات يمتد لنحو 3 كيلومترات من شمال الجزيرة وحتى جنوبها.
وأفادت الوكالة بأن القاعدة تجهز لان تكون مهبط للطائرات العسكرية بمن فيها القاذفات الاستراتيجية التي تملكها الولايات المتحدة، موضحة بان القاعدة ستكون أيضا خط دفاع اول يشمل عمليات الاستطلاع والهجوم والمراقبة.
ومن ضمن الصور التي نشرتها الوكالة كتابة العمال عبارة “نحن الامارات” لكنها نقلت عن مسؤولين اماراتيين حديثهم بان عملهم في سقطرى “انساني”.
ويأتي نشر الصور عقب أيام على تقارير أمريكية عن توجه لإنشاء قاعدة متقدمة ف الجزيرة الواقعة عند تقاطع المحيط الهندي وبحر العرب.
وتأتي هذه التطورات مع قرار اليمن توسيع عملياتها البحرية في المحيط الهندي وهو ما يعكس قلق امريكي من تبعات العمليات اليمنية التي اثبتت فعلا نجاعتها باستهداف السفن المرتبطة بالاحتلال الإسرائيلي، لكن استهداف القوات اليمنية لقاعدة مماثلة في زقر يهدد مستقبل الوجود الأمريكي وغيره من الحلفاء في سقطرى.
